About the Author

Olugbemisola Rhuday-Perkovich is the author of several picture books, including Someday is Now: Clara Luper and the 1958 Oklahoma City Sit-Ins, as well as middle grade novels such as Operation Sisterhood. Lydia Mba was born in Madrid, Spain. Her mother is Spanish and her father is from Equatorial Guinea. She attended ESDIP, earning a degree in Illustration.
