Seasonal/Part-Time Book Fair Truck Driver - Aurora

Anderson’s Bookfair Company provides book fairs for elementary, middle, and high schools.  Our bookfair driver position comes with flexible hours (with some ability to work around school schedules) and is perfect for at-home parents, new retirees, or anyone looking to make a little extra cash in time for the holidays!

Responsibilities:

• Drive box truck with lift gate
• Pickup and deliveries require the loading and unloading of company trucks at both warehouse and Schools, utilizing all safety procedures during the process.
• Deliver/pickup into the designated site for the book fair.
• Keep vehicle clean and refueled
• Drivers return home same day and will travel in city and suburb areas.

Basic qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Class C license or ability to attain a Class C license

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to drive box truck
• Ability to load and unload lift gate
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push, pull, lift, and handle rolling cases weighing more than 350 pounds on a regular basis.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with a flexible schedule

Job Type:

• Part-time Seasonal (great supplemental income during retirement)
